Ethiopia, the origin of the coffee plant, provides ideal growing conditions with its wild Heirloom varietal flourishing in rainforest canopies. Our Ethiopian coffees come from the Oromia Region and the Gedeo Zone.

In Oromia, the Sidama Coffee Farmers’ Cooperative Union (SCFCU) represents 80,000 farmers and supplies our Fair Trade Organic Ethiopian Sidamo, known for its sweet and complex flavors. Our limited-release Guji Wubanchi offers notes of key lime, green apple, and hibiscus.

From the Gedeo Zone, our Organic Ethiopian Yirgacheffe features bright citrus notes like tangerine and lime with a dry lemon tea finish. The Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers’ Cooperatives Union (YCFCU) overcame past hardships to focus on sustainable coffee practices and improving farmers’ livelihoods.
